Established in 1988, the Building Industry Association of Tulare/Kings Counties, Inc. (BIATKC) is a non-profit organization representing all builders,
developers, subcontractors and associated businesses in Tulare and Kings Counties. BIATKC invites all people who provide products or
services related to the residential building industry to join the association.
We work and fight hard in Tulare and Kings Counties to ease government regulations, promote housing affordability and the free enterprises system. For example: we save members thousands of dollars in proposed fees and costs, assist in drafting reasonable legislation that affects industry and proposed ordinances that would have a negative impact on building and industry related businesses.
We are here because every builder, developer or related business needs to be united with an association that looks out for and defends its members' interests, be it in legislation or be it in other outside matters relative to the success of our members.
We are governed by elected officers and board members having an interest in the building industry who donate their time and services to oversee the functions, operations and objectives of the association. Within the organization, BIATKC links the individual member to the entire industry through informational, educational and technical services and facilitates networking opportunities at targeted meetings and special events. BIATKC also assembles specialized industry councils and committees that address issues from its members’ unique perspectives.
All BIATKC decisions and activity's thereof, are run by and through our Board of Directors, staff and committee volunteers. Our office is located in Visalia and is here to serve you. We are affiliated with the California Building Association (CBIA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Large and small construction companies doing business in Tulare/Kings Counties, suppliers, product manufacturers, subcontractors, associate businesses such as financial institutions, utilities, title companies, real estate brokers, banks, mortgage and loan companies, insurance companies, engineers, architects, accountants, etc. Members receive a roster of businesses within BIATKC after signing up!
